Can I assign roles to another user?

Simpli5 allows Account Administrators to change the roles of any member in your organization.

Available Roles

Currently, these are the available roles in Simpli5:
  1. Member (default). Basic role that joins the user to your organization. This role cannot be deselected.
  2. Account Administrator. Allows access to the Administration page. Administrators can invite new members, send reminder invitations as needed, and remove members from the org. By default, Account Administrators are also Token Buyers.

  3. Token Buyer. Token administration functions are no longer available; apologies for any inconvenience. 

Steps to Assign Roles

Follow these steps to assign roles to a member:
  1. At the Network page in the My Connections panel, find and tap the member's name.
    1. If the person has a private profile, you will need to contact them directly to ask them either to make their profile public or to share their profile just with you.
  2. In the person's Profile Summary panel, scroll to the bottom and tap Account Information.
  3. At the Account Information page, the Roles section lists the user's currently assigned roles; the default is Member. Tap Edit to make changes. 
  4. In the Assign Role window (below), you can select or deselect all roles appropriate to that user. Tap Done to close the window; the Roles section on the previous page will reflect any changes you made.
    1. Member cannot be deselected. 
    2. Account Administrators will have access to the Administration pages when they next log in.
    3. Token Buyer role is no longer available; if you select this role, the user will see no changes to their account or access. Apologies for any inconvenience.
