How to Use Tokens

How to Use Tokens

Overview

Token Buyers can use tokens to request someone outside of your Simpli5 organization share their Advanced Professional Growth Insights (APGI) report with your organization. The APGI can confirm the person's 5 Dynamics energies without using a full Simpli5 license or without giving the person visibility to your org and those within it. Examples of useful applications of tokens would include potential new hires, sales prospects, coaching clients, etc.

You, as the Token Buyer, will gain access to an individual's Advanced Professional Growth Insights (APGI) report once that person has accepted your invitation to share. The APGI is the same as that available to the person through Simpli5 Relationships, and it includes the person's Energy Map and a report of how that person prefers to get work done.

You will not see the person as a member of your org, any of their Simpli5 content, or the ability to include them in pair or team content. If you would like to do these things, an administrator must invite them from the Administration page.

Use Tokens to Send Request

1. Tap the Send Request button to open the Send Share Report Request form.
You must have 1 or more Unallocated tokens (shown under My Tokens at the top of the Tokens module) to Send Request.
If you need to purchase more tokens, see How to Buy Tokens.

2. Enter the person's first name, last name, and email address. Then tap Send.
An email will be sent from notifier@5dynamics.com to request that the person share the APGI report with your organization. To accept the request, the person must already have or must open a Simpli5 Relationships account.

Request Status List

Below the Send Request button is a list of all active requests, their status, and available actions for each request (see screenshot below). This list will show:
  1. Full name. Of the person who received the request.
  2. Email. Of the person who received the request.
  3. Report Code. Necessary to verify the request.
  4. Status. The following statuses are possible:
    1. Pending. Email sent but request not yet accepted.
    2. Shared. Request accepted, ready to create PDF.
    3. Downloaded. APGI created and available for download.
  5. Owner. Current owner (Token Buyer) of the request can see and download the PDF.
  6. Token Expiration. If the prospect does not accept the request within 10 days, the request expires and the token is returned to the Token Buyer.
    1. Expired requests disappear from your Use Tokens list on the expiration date.
    2. Once Shared, this expiration date is irrelevant.
  7. Available Actions. The following actions are possible:
    1. Cancel. Cancel the request (prospect has not shared the info yet) and return the token to Unallocated.
    2. Resend. Resend the request (prospect has not shared the info yet).
    3. Create PDF. Once shared by the prospect you can create the APGI the first time (here the token is consumed).
    4. Download. Download the pdf as many times as needed.
